Bulk and wholesale discounts on Lafuma recliners from OSR

If you are considering buying a Lafuma recliner, and you belong to a group or organisation, it makes it very much cheaper to buy together rather than singly - there is cheaper shipping and bulk discounts are available.

There are huge savings to be had on delivery costs. While a single Lafuma recliner costs £10 to ship next day within the mainland UK, shipping lots at the same time costs much much less. Even just a pair of recliners costs less to ship than one at a time.

Here's what it costs, and how much you save, to ship Lafuma recliners more than one at a time:

So as you can see, placing a larger order can bring the cost of a recliner down dramatically, not to mention the cost of all the associated accessories. We can do this because larger orders are much quicker and easier for us to process than lots of small ones, meaning our time and staff and transport and telephone and banking and stationery and packaging and everything else costs are less.

Are you ordering on behalf of a local authority or healthcare organisation? If you can provide a valid VAT exemption certificate for your purchase of Lafuma recliners, we can reduce the up-front cost to your budget by not charging the VAT to you. Speak to your finance department if in doubt.

If you are a group of reflexology students or therapists, looking to make use of the discounts on bulk orders for Lafuma products for therapy use, there are easy and hard ways of going about it. Having done this quite a few times now, we have found the following to be the simplest procedure for people ordering in this way:

This does mean that getting the best discounts involves a little work by somebody coordinating the purchase, but we try to sweeten that by including a little goodie bag for the organiser in the final shipment. Plus of course it's entirely up to you how you divide the costs between the end users and yourself.

We need to know when and where you want the items delivered. We will send everything by next day courier - so you can't tell exactly what time they will turn up, but you do know exactly what day they should arrive.

For bulk orders, we ship all the accessories in a separate box from the recliners. We include till receipts for each cheque sent in, so everybody has something to show for their accounts.

Generally, if all the items you want are in stock, we should be able to get your order on its way to you within a couple of working days of receiving cleared payment. If, as some people do, you have left it to the last minute and need your recliners yesterday, you can speed up the process by making a deposit or transfer straight into our bank account (so the cheques don't have to clear) and giving us all the details by fax. We can't promise, but we have had one order of 12 recliners on the customer's doorstep within 24 hours of them first contacting us, and if you are in a hurry we will do our very best for you as well.

We can do all this because in March 2004 we took on additional storage and despatch space specifically for storing Lafuma chairs, Lafuma recliners, Lafuma carry cases, and Lafuma everything. Having our own mini-warehousing facility means we rely much less on deliveries from the factory in France, which are appallingly unreliable and inconsistent, sometimes taking months for orders to arrive. We are doing our best to stock up sufficiently on everything that we won't be "out of stock" on any major product from now on, no matter how many battles with the French may be going on behind the scenes trying to get hold of their products!

We are always pleased to see people who come down to Oxford School of Reflexology to collect their Lafuma recliners in person, whether it's for reflexology use or as a garden recliner, poolside relaxer, or caravan chair. We do just ask that you give us a little advance warning so that we can have the Lafuma products you wish to view out for you - our shopfront is small and mostly concerned with books and consumables for therapists.
